Personal Profile - Simon Airey I have been fascinated with reptiles and other 'exotic' animals since the age of six when my cat brought a grass snake into the house and that first encounter has led to a lifetime's interest. I have worked with these beautiful animals since the mid 80's, and have bred many of the species that I work with. I have spent 5 years lecturing about them to students on Small Animal Courses at a local agricultural college. That has led onto 18 years of exotics talks for a very diverse range of audiences. I started by doing educational talks linked to the school curriculum and by demand and recommendation the range of groups that I talk to has become very varied and extensive. I explain the origins of the fear of some of these animals and give people of all ages the opportunity to hold them and overcome those fears.
